The owner, Mike Galloway, started the business 2009, and so we have now reached our ten year anniversary. With over thirty years experience in the retail trade, including being Managing Director of a 300 outlet photo retailer, Mike was determined to bring something new to the consumer electronics market.  Mike and his team have worked hard on ever improving the website with better customer functionality. With his ISO9002 Quality System background, Mike has taken a “nuts and bolts” approach to business improvement, personally reviewing all company policies and procedures. This included additional security protection for the customer, achieving full compliance with some market leading security standards, making buying from District Electricals one of the safest websites on the internet.

The success of the business resulted in relocation to larger premises in Worcester City Centre in the Summer of 2011. This facilitated the opening of a showroom in January 2012, which resulted in ever increasing local sales supporting our flourishing internet business.
